Fuel prices and the rising cost of collection.

Nobody can be unaware of the spiraling cost of fuel and its effect upon business. We are no different and are having to consider charging for collections. So, if we assess that the equipment that you offer us for recycling will not cover the cost of collection, we will look to charge you a turn out fee. This fee is currently £1 a mile from our premises to yours, based on any propriatory route planner. This is not affecting those calls within the Cambridge City boundary which will continue to be free.

As from the 1st of January the rules regarding our recycling of monitors has changed, due to our extensive discussions with the Environment Agency.

If, upon collection, we are assured that the monitors are working, or only have minor faults that can easily be repaired, then we can still continue to collect these from you

FREE OF CHARGE.

However, if the monitors are beyond repair and reuse, then they are Hazardous Waste and we will need to consign these from you and there will be a charge of £20 + VAT for this service, plus £15 per monitor disposal cost. Furthermore, if you wish to dispose of more than 200Kg of Hazardous Waste in any 365 day period, then your company will need to be registered with the Environment Agency as a producer of Hazardous Waste.
